A FAMILY TRADITION

For the last 14 years we have gone on a holiday to the snow with my family. Though the family consistency has changed over the years (we kids dated around for a bit) and the destination changes frequently, the week is always filled with warmth, games, cheese platters, wine and laughter. This years trip took us to Les Menuires, Les 3 Vallees in France. May there be many more editions of this lovely family tradition!

JUST A MINUTE IN ... AUGUST

Reading... more lucky peach magazine & my motor cycle theory handbook.

Listening... lots of music festivals (dance valley, lowlands, mystery land, oranje festival) and Bon Iver, The Boxer Rebellion, Editors, Dillon Francis, Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs.

Watching... Girls, The Great Gatsby, Now You See Me, The place beyond the pines

Making... it was a pretty bad food month with lots of festival fast food. But I did try out these recipe's and they were great; Red Curry Fish Burger & Sesame-Spiced Turkey Meatballs.

Loving... all that music and the great late summer weather we are having.

Wanting... my holiday to start! Looking forward to my upcoming trip to Iceland with the bf.

AUGUST BREAK
